Avid tea drinker, undogmatic cat worshiper, dreamer, awkward conversationalist , introverted extrovert, herbivorous half-wit, extemporaneously spasmodic misanthropist, bedroom nudist, clothes peg colour co-ordinator, persistently perplexed person, pettifoggingly pernickety, mechanically maladroit misfit, aimless wandering vagabond, bookslut.

I have had no time for music lately. But here is something I recorded a few weeks ago and never got around to uploading. Aaron says he can see a castle collapsing when he listens to this. Created using a sewing needle, music box comb and my computer.

Queen Zoetica.I have not drawn in a very long time, so yesterday I decided to draw Zoetica Ebb. Instead of a floral headpiece (like she adorned in the original photograph by James Stolzenbach) I have given her an intergalactic space crown. My drawing skillz are a little rusty, but you can expect more drawings of babes wearing similar crowns in the future

Believe it or not, this is a charcoal picture I drew in early 2011 for an art assignment. Students were required to use a grid technique to replicate a photograph of something (I’ve inverted the colour and mirrored the image). I have decided that I need to start drawing trees again.

I am going to sleep very happy that I finally recorded something new. I actually spent today recording two tracks, I will post the other tomorrow. As with all of my music this was created using tweezers to pluck the notes of a music box comb (a timely process). Additional sounds added using a computer.

I recorded this last night while it was rather windy outside. I don’t have a proper microphone so the sound quality isn’t great. But anyway, this is an example of where my music is heading. I hope you enjoy it x

Greetings earth beings,

I felt it was time for a much needed change. As the idea to create an album in the near future is becoming more clear I decided to rethink the name with which I record music under. ‘The Boy and The Bird’ is what I have chosen. Inspired by Dickon Sowerby from The Secret Garden (the boy who can talk to animals), I feel it is a more suitable name for the sound which I am creating.
I look forward to continuing to create art and music under this name.

I recorded this last night. I’ll be silent on soundcloud for a little while. x

Instead of writing an essay I made this. Created using a sewing needle and music box comb. Also features bells and triangle (ha), as well as some very minimal percussion.

A little something I created last night

Here is something else which is completely different to what I have recorded previously. Believe it or not, this was still produced with a music box comb. It is very gong-esque, it makes my speakers shake.

There were birds outside of my window when I recorded this, so they accidentally ended up in the loop.

This is what I did today. Created using a music box comb and a sewing needle (as with all my music, best with headphones).
